Ensure efficient and reliable laboratory testing with the respons®240c. This fully automated benchtop analyzer is ideally suited for small laboratories, delivering a stable throughput of 240 tests per hour (or 400 tests/hour with the optional ISE module).

Reaction System

 

The grating photometer is designed for maintenance-free operation and is equipped with 12 wavelengths, ensuring precise and reliable measurements. A wide photometric linearity range of up to 3.5 OD reduces the need for repeat measurements, increasing efficiency and accuracy.

 

The system also features air-heated cuvette temperature control, which requires no maintenance and eliminates the need for time-consuming water bath servicing.

 

Additionally, the twin test function supports the use of DiaSys HbA1c net FS reagent, optimizing performance for specific diagnostic applications.

 

Advanced HbA1c Testing

 

The system provides a fully automated whole blood hemolysis process directly within the analyzer, eliminating the need for labor-intensive and potentially error-prone manual sample preparation.

 

HbA1c smart sampling technology ensures efficient erythrocyte aspiration even in samples with increased sedimentation rates, as aspiration is performed from the bottom of the tube.

 

After whole blood processing, the probe undergoes intensive cleaning, minimizing carryover and enhancing result accuracy and reliability.

 

Reagent and Sample Rotor

 

The respons®240c accommodates up to 36 DiaSys respons® reagent bottles in a refrigerated reagent rotor (2–12°C). In combination with dedicated respons® bottles, convenient single-step loading is ensured, including two-component reagents.

 

In addition, 36 universal positions are available for samples, calibrators, or control materials.

 

Reagent/Sample Probe

 

The liquid level detection system prevents dry aspiration and, together with clot detection, ensures accurate and safe sample handling.

 

Collision detection protects the probe from damage, while real-time residual volume monitoring allows continuous control of available tests. Clot detection further enhances result reliability.
